Type of Engineering: Structural
Goal: Students will build a simple catapult using craft sticks, rubber bands and a spoon.
Learning Objectives: introduction to mechanical engineering; potential & kinetic energy; tension, gravity and building.
Grade levels: 2nd & 3rd grade
Workshop time: 1 hour
 
 
Toolbox includes a class set with fifteen (15) individual student kits with all project materials.
